December 23, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter brothers visited two local transitional housing shelters for women and children to give gift boxes with story book Bibles, gift cards and toy items that were donated by a local donor. The brothers were received with much joy and delight by the staff along with the children and their mothers who were tenants of the shelters.
December 21, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter was one of the sponsors of the Times-Picayune/New Orleans/Advocate newspaper Dolland Toys Fund. Brothers from the chapter volunteered to distribute toys and fruit to citizens in the Greater New Orleans area. The event took place at Xavier University's Convocation Center.
December 19, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter continued our Education out reach program at Joseph A. Craig Elementary School. The Chapter partnered with The Omega Men Foundation to emphasize the importance of having good reading skills and to reward a male and female student in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades who's reading skills have progressed with brand new Samsung Tablets. The tablets were purchased through a grant provided to the Omega Men Foundation from The Entergy Corporation.
December 07, 2019 - The Brothers of Rho Phi held the chapter's annual Christmas Party. This year's event was hosted by Bro. Clarence Verdin and his wife Carolyn.
November 25-26, 2019 - The Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter continued their annual Thanksgiving Basket Give-Away to needy families in the Greater New Orleans Area. The chapter donated food baskets and hundreds of dollars in gift cards to families and a local Woman's shelter.
November 16, 2019 - The 5 chapters that comprise the New Orleans Coalition held their annual Achievement Week Banquet. Achievement Week is observed each November and is designed to recognize brothers at the local level who have contributd to community uplift.
November 3, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter continued to support events in the Greater New Orleans area by being one of the sponsors of the annual Kidney Foundation Walk/Run. The event was held at Audubon Park.
November 3, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter continued to promote the 2020 Census during the 4th annual Domestic Violence Luncheon. Information on the census was made available to the attendees.

November 2, 2019 - Brothers from Rho Phi, domestic violence survivors and members of the community participate in the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk. The event began at the Crescent City Ques Clubhouse and ended at Lawless Chapel, located on Dillard University's campus.
October 21, 2019 - Brothers from Rho Phi wore pink shirts and other pink paraphernalia to show their support for cancer awareness. A donation from Rho Phi chapter to the local Susan G. Komen cancer society was made on their behalf.
October 12, 2019 - Brothers from Rho Phi and brothers from the Greater New Orleans Omega Coalition participated in the annual U.N.C.F. Walk/Run Kick-Off event held at the Audubon Park.
October 9, 2019 - Brothers from Rho Phi and brothers from the Greater New Orleans Omega Coalition participated in the annual U.N.C.F. Walk/Run Kick-Off event held at the Audubon Park Tea Room. Brothers assisted the U.N.C.F. staff by handing out t-shirts and other items to those registered for the event along with assistance with the raffle of donated items.
September 27, 2019 - Rho Phi chapter held its 11th annual Real Men Read program at Joseph A. Craig charter school. The program is designed to encourage Pre-3 through First grade students to develop good reading habits. The Omega Men Foundation, through a grant from Entrgy, Inc., donated a check for $500.00 to the school to purchase books for their library
September 21, 2019 - Rho Phi chapter held its annual Reclamation Retention Set OWT to encourage non-financial brothers to become active again and also brothers who are financial, to remain active.
August 31, 2019 - Brothers from the Greater New Orleans Omega Coalition and representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau, held a 2020 Census Kick-Off event at Warren Easton H.S. Brothers will support the Census reporting by helping to promote the event at chapter and community events.

August 6, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter held its 2019 College Scholarship Award Presentation on Tuesday August 6, 2019 The event was held prior to the Chapter’s August business meeting. A Scholarship Award certificate was given to Jourdan Mondy, daughter of Bro. Raymond Mondy. Scholarships were also given to Elise Metoyer, the daughter of Bro. Rene Metoyer, Maya Spears, the daughter of Bro. Gerald Spears and Paige Luster, the daughter of Bro. Brian Luster. Maya, Paige and Elise were not able to attend the event. Scholarships were also given to incoming male freshmen at Xavier University, Dillard University and Southern University in New Orleans.
July 10, 2019 - Rho Phi and Gamma Rho Chapter brothers supported the Delta Sigma Theta 54th National Convention Kick-Off Event by providing dessert items to the attendees. The event was held at Mardi Gras World.
May 18, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter brothers participated in the 2nd annual Helena Alexander Lupus Awareness Walk. The event was held at Audubon Park. Bro. Marion Floyd's law firm is a sponsor of the event.
May 6, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter continued our outreach program at Joseph Craig Charter School. Brothers from Rho Phi met with students to encourage them to begin thinking about their career path and show students how to tie a neck tie.
April 25-28 / May 2-5, 2019 - The Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter donate their time to raise money for scholarships by working the entrance gates at the Jazz Festival. All net monies earned by the chapter is used to provide scholarships to male freshman students attending Dillard, Xavier and Southern Universities. the chapter also provides scholarships to Rho Phi brothers children who are graduating from high school.
April 20, 2019 - The Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter distributed Easter baskets and Religious articles to children in hospitals and Emergency Shelters in the Greater New Orleans area on the Saturday before Easter. The chapter visited several facilities and distributed well over 100 baskets to families in need. The chapter has held this event on the day before Easter for more than 30 years.
March 17, 2019 - The Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter held its annual Memorial Service at St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church.This mandated program is conducted every year throughout Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in March and serves as a memorial to the Omega Brothers who have entered Omega Chapter during the previous year. Bro. Michael Raymond, Senior Pastor of Shiloh Christian Fellowship Baptist Church and Rho Phi Chapter's Chaplain, delivered the message.
March 9, 2019 - Rho Phi hosted its annual Family and Friends Picnic. Food, Fun and Fellowship was had by all who attended the event.
February 22, 2019 - Rho Phi and other chapters belonging to the Greater New Orleans Omega Psi Phi Coalition hosted the Talent Hunt at Lawless Memorial Chapel, located on the campus of Dillard University. The first place winner in the Artistic and Performing Arts categories will represent the Coalition at the Ninth District 2019 Meeting's Talent Hunt.
January 21, 2019 - Rho Phi Chapter Brothers participated in the Annual March to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday. This year the march was held on Dr. King's birthday.
