December 13, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter continued our Real Men Read and Books for Bikes out reach programs at Benjamin Banneker elementary school. Brothers from Rho Phi volunteer to read to the students and emphasis the importance of having good reading skills and to reward middle school students who have read the most books with brand new bikes.
November 25, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter continued a tradition of donating Thanksgiving Baskets to needy families in the Greater New Orleans Area.
November 8, 2013 - The 5 chapters that comprise the Greater New Orleans Coalition held their annual Achievement Week Banquet at Lace The Grand BallRoom.
October 19, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter continued its commitment to the Fraternity's Social Action Mandates by hosting its "Empowered To Save Lives" Health Fair. Twenty three persons donated blood along with free blood pressure, dental health and breast cancer information, blood sugar screenings were also provided.
September 14, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter held its second fundraiser of the year, a Luau to raise funds for our social action activities.
May 10, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter continued our outreach program at Benjamin Banneker elementary school. Brothers from Rho Phi met with 7th graders to encourage them to begin thinking about their future career path .
March 30, 2013 - The Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter distributed Easter baskets and Religious articles to hospitalized children and Emergency Shelters in the New Orleans area on the Saturday before Easter. Tulane, Ochsner and West Jefferson Hospitals were visited and also 3 battered women clinics.
March 10, 2013 - The annual Memorial Service was held at First Street PW United Methodist Church to remember those Brothers who have transitioned to Omega Chapter.
March 9, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter Brothers dedicated a day to clean up a stretch of St. Claude Avenue in the lower Ninth Ward.
March 8, 2013 - Rho Phi Chapter continued our outreach program at Benjamin Banneker elementary school. Brothers from Rho Phi mentored the young men in the 8th grade. During this mentoring program, the brothers encouraged the students to stay in school and instructed the young men on how to tie a neck tie.
